Blue River Escape House Rules
These rules are part of your rental agreement. The Primary Guest is responsible for sharing them with everyone in the party and making sure they're followed throughout the stay.
Maximum Occupancy
Maximum overnight occupancy is 8 guests. Additional guests or visitors beyond the permitted occupancy are not allowed without prior written approval from management.
No Smoking
Blue River Escape is a strictly non-smoking property. Smoking is prohibited inside the residence and garage. Evidence of smoking may result in a $1,500 fee, up to the full cost of cleaning, odor remediation, repairs, or other damages resulting from smoking.
No Pets
Pets are not permitted at the property at any time. Undeclared or unauthorized pets are subject to a $500 fee, in addition to any cleaning or damage charges that may apply.
Parking
Parking is limited to four (4) vehicles, including up to two vehicles in the garage. Street parking is prohibited due to snow-plowing requirements and Town of Silverthorne regulations. Vehicles must remain in designated parking areas. Illegally parked vehicles may be towed at the vehicle owner's expense. Class B vans are not permitted in the community.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM and are strictly enforced. Guests must be respectful of neighboring properties and refrain from excessive outdoor noise at all times.
Events & Gatherings
Events or gatherings that exceed the property's approved occupancy or involve decorations, additional furniture, or moving/rearranging furniture require prior written approval from management. Glitter and sparklers are prohibited. All approved decorations must be completely removed before departure.
Hot Tub
The private hot tub may be used only in accordance with the property's safety requirements. Minors must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Glass is prohibited in and around the hot tub. The hot tub must remain covered when not in use. Guests must not drain, service, alter, or add chemicals to the hot tub and should contact management if maintenance is needed. Hot tub use is prohibited after 10:00 PM.
Each adult guest who intends to use the hot tub must complete the Blue River Escape Hot Tub & Fire Pit Liability Waiver before use. A parent or legal guardian must complete the applicable acknowledgment for participating minors.
Fire Pit
The outdoor natural-gas fire pit may be operated only by an adult who understands and is comfortable with its proper operation. The gas must never be left on without a flame or while the fire pit is unattended. Paper, wood, food, or other combustible materials may not be placed in the fire pit. Children must remain safely away from the flame and must be supervised by an adult.
Each adult guest who intends to use the fire pit must complete the Blue River Escape Hot Tub & Fire Pit Liability Waiver before use. A parent or legal guardian must complete the applicable acknowledgment for participating minors.
Fireplaces
The home's fireplaces are natural-gas fireboxes. Do not place paper, wood, food, or other materials into the fireplaces. Cooking or roasting over the fireplaces and rearranging the decorative log features are prohibited.
Grill
The natural-gas BBQ grill must never be left operating unattended. Guests are responsible for using the grill safely and leaving it reasonably clean after use. Additional cleaning charges may apply when excessive cleaning is required.
Doors & Cold-Weather Protection
During cold weather and whenever the property is unattended, exterior and garage doors must remain closed. Guests may be responsible for damage resulting from failure to follow these requirements.
Plumbing
Only toilet paper may be flushed. Feminine products, diapers, wipes, or other materials must not be flushed. Guests may be responsible for plumbing costs resulting from improper use.
Care of the Home
Please remove shoes while inside the home and treat the property, furnishings, linens, appliances, and amenities with care. Guests are responsible for damage beyond ordinary wear and tear caused by the guest or members of the guest's party.
Primary Guest Responsibility
The Primary Guest is responsible for communicating these House Rules to all members of the rental party and for ensuring that guests and approved visitors comply with them throughout the stay.
